Two Iranian men face charges of preparing a terrorist attack targeting Manchester's Jewish community, including Heaton Park synagogue, a court heard.
Rahman Salehi, 34, from Salford, and Salam Ahmadyan, 36, from Liverpool were charged with preparing to commit an act of terrorism or assisting another to commit an act of terrorism on Friday, according to The Guardian.
The two men allegedly identified Heaton Park synagogue as a site for a planned homemade bomb plot. The synagogue has been previously targeted in a fatal terrorist attack.
