A British man's death in Grenada remains uninvestigated nearly 10 months after his body was found, despite an autopsy ruling the death a homicide, The Guardian reports.

Andrew Frederick, a British father, was discovered in a ransacked property on the Caribbean island. A pathologist classified his death as a homicide. Grenadian police, however, closed the case without pursuing investigation.

Charity workers supporting Frederick's family are now calling for immediate UK government intervention. They argue that diplomatic delays between Britain and Grenada have stalled what should be a time-critical investigation.

The case has remained effectively frozen since Frederick's death, with no active inquiry into the homicide ruling or the circumstances of his body being found in a property that showed signs of forced entry or disturbance.
